What a weekend! - Wednesday, April 18, 2007
The 2007 Heartland Tournament is in the record books and it was a great weekend!  Congratulations to all who competed!  We had about 125 registrants for the weekend including 77 active DeMolays who entered the competitions.  They competed in 80 individual parts along with 13 team events.

After the competitions were over, the members were able to participate in the inaugural Heartland Video Game Championships.  Members competed in Halo 2 on the X-Box, Tekken on Playstation and Mario Kart Double Dash on a Gamecube to see the best of the best were!  The games were broadcast in the rooms to a size of 10' x 10' so everyone could watch the fun and mayhem.  A game called Perudo was also seen being played by a rowdy, yet well mannered group of young men.  The brotherhood demonstrated that evening by all members regardless of Chapter or jurisdiction was incredible.

Congratulations to all who competed and those who won a competition.  The winners of the Individual competitions each received a special Heartland Tournament of Champions merit bar and a 2007 Heartland Champion t-shirt. The merit bar for the individual winners is yellow.

Team winners received a Heartland Trophy and a different Heartland Tournament of Champions merit bar.  The team winners received a orange merit bar.

All who registered received a Heartland Tournament t-shirt and a green merit bar showing that they competed in our Tournament!

Please check back for updates including pictures from this year's event along with details for next year's Tournament.
